Studying Anime

This site contains the papers and presentations on anime that have been given at various venues over the last decade by Dr. Paul Price. The talks can be downloaded from the pages in listed in the menu to the left.

A theme in many, but not all of the talks, is the exploration of how anime reflects technological changes in Japan and the impacts of those changes on Japanese society. The materials on this site are copyrighted and should only be used with appropriate citation.
